ABOUT THE REGIONAL CENTRE
The Regional Centre Coimbatore of Anna University was established on 2012. It offers higher education in Engineering and Technology. Located in an Arcadian environment in the city and 16kms from Mettupalayam. The Regional Centre Coimbatore is equipped with excellent infrastructure and highly qualified faculty members, who facilitate hands on experience to students to master their skills in various disciplines.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Android is an open source and free mobile mobile platform built on linux kernel. Android is proliferating rapidly due to open, fast and easy development of applications. The workshop is to introduce about Android mobile platform, Applications development, demonstration and Business & career opportunities of Android Mobile platform for beginners.The primary goal of this workshop is to impart participants with an in-depth understanding of fundamentals and advanced knowledge in the areas of Android to enable them to progress rapidly in their research.
SCOPE OF THE WORKSHOP
This workshop has emphasis to provide a platform for interaction and to discuss about the recent advances, new paradigms, technological trends and challenges in the field of mobile application. Also this workshop provides an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas on the topics of importance along with thought provoking technical sessions.
TARGET AUDIENCE
The Members of the Faculty, Final year UG students and PG students from Engineering Colleges/Universities who have interest in the field of Android applications and those who are performing research in the same field. No TA and DA will be provided for the participants. Lunch will be arranged

The fee should be paid only through DD in favor of “Computer Science & Engg (CSE) Association”, Anna University, Regional Centre, Coimbatore, payable at Coimbatore. Registration fee includes certificate, workshop kit, lunch and refreshments.
